2 of my GFs are sponsoring and doing my wedding cake for me. I heard it will be what.. 5 tier-ed? :D They'll be doing it fresh on Sat night. Sedap ke tak sedap, lawa ke tak lawa, I HEART YOU GIRLS LAH! And soo tak sabar nak tgk cake tu!
As well as my guestbook which is being done by the ever creative GF.
And the other GF will be lending her poses and smileys to the cameras. :)
There'll be bits of personal touches here and there for my wedding from the people I love. Family, cousins and friends.
And then, there might be that HP I've been eyeing.

My DM aka Boss aka Cheng kept asking me for her invitation card whenever she saw me. And she kept saying "No invite, no come."
Wait boss, be patient. :) You are one of those ppl "up there" cos you've done so much for me and to me.
You were the one who hired me 6 years ago, the one who pulled me with you to CT 4 years ago, the one who promoted me to SHM 3 years ago, the one who sent me for RMT 1 year ago and the one who promoted me to ASM 10 months ago.
And I want you to be the one to promote me to SM hopefully in 2010. :)
The best thing you've done? You brought my future husband from a store that was closing down, to the store where you hired me. :)
I'm totally indebted to you, so how can I not invite you?

Rock and I finalised our 10 songs choice for our wedding video. We chose so many songs, went over the lyrics to see if they suit and at last we've got our final 10.
I just couldn't resist putting in a boyband song. I chose BLUE'S "BEST IN ME" Not that bad right? And for Rock himself, he couldn't resist putting a slow rock song. WHITE LION (whoever they are!) "TILL DEATH DO US PART"
And of cos, the song that we had mutual agreement on. LIFEHOUSE "YOU AND ME
Collecting our wedding invites this Thurs! :) // Just need to get our dulang stuffs, get the dulangs themselves sorted out and we should be done already. I wanna shake legs 1st July onwards, relax and just wait for 18th and 19th July to arrive. :)

I'll be doing up my own room for my Nikah cos I do not have the budget to get those pros to do it up for me as well as to spend a few hundreds of bucks just to rent stuffs and give them back.
I have a basic idea of how I wanna the room to be like. Something simple just like most of my stuffs but at least the things that I'm going to buy for the room, I get to keep and reuse them. We've bought 4 new pillows and bolster and I saw a set of bedsheet that I really liked but I comtemplated buying it as I wasn't sure if the price is worth it. So I'll be going over with mum this Sun to get her opinion.
I think my room will either be cream + purple or cream + green or cream + brown.
I've started doing my own countdown to my big day and sometimes I just smile to myself cos I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I'M GETTING MARRIED IN 2 MONTHS TIME! :)
And I can't wait to go for the 7D6N trip despite all the challenges ahead!

I was out with Rock today settling some wedding stuffs. We got our cards done at City Sq. I love my cards although they are nothing out of this world.
After that we went over to Feyzul Wedding Services at Bukit Timah cos Rock wanted to add the kids'wedding favours and chair covers. We zoomed to Suntec then to collect his ring. We proceeded to Carrefour to get some toiletries and a last minute call came at 815pm which got me all pissed off. He was called back to work cos the person who was supposed to be on stand by did not answer the phone call. @#$%#!
I offered to take the public transport home (insincerely) but he insisted on rushing me home 1st before going off to work. So yeay.
Reached home, bathed cos I was sticky and hot like mad. The heat at Johor drove me mad. Anyway, logged on to my hotmail and I got 2 emails confirming our hotel reservations. So yeay! From an angry woman, I jumped around in joy. :)
We are going no where fancy. Just Phuket and Bangkok. Will be reaching Phuket on the 22nd of July. Yes, read that tsunami email? So Rock and myself.. our fate is to die there, pls note everyone, that we love you and beg for forgiveness for everything. :S
Alrite, gotta go to bed cos I'm doing opening tomorrow.

We chose our 9 wedding outfits last Wednesday and it was such a headache and very time comsuming and mind testing. Yes 9, 2 for nikah, 2 for sanding, 4 for our studio shoot and 1 dress for outdoor.
I realised that I can be quite cerewet cos I changed my deco again, and now, even now, I've thought of changing it again. To just 2 shades of blue and white. Or shall I have a totally white wedding? Í'm so undecided. I might not be taking my services from a super known bridal boutique but I'm very happy with the services given to me. Including the boss! I call him Laopan. And he's one damn funny guy. His assistant Amy and himself gave opinions, thoughts etc when I chose the outfits and they took out quite a no. of outfits that I rejected. And they didn't even make any noise.
Amy is good. She is Malaysia and speaks to me in a mixture of Eng and Malay. She is one patient lady lah!
I'm going to call her this Mon to tell her that I'm changing my deco again. Hope she doesn't scream at me :)
And next Mon, we are going across the Causeway to get our wedding cards done!

Another entry.
Just as we decided on our honeymoon destination, there is a warning about the next tsunami happening on the day that we planned to leave. And then the turmoil and happenings in Bangkok. Sigh.
Yes, we haven't even booked anything yet, but all those plannings and talks and suddenly this. I'm so undecided.

The short 3d2n Batam getaway was good.
We bowled, watched Fast & Furious 4 for $3 each, we had a good massage and reflex which made us crook our faces from pain and tickleness. We ate like nobody's business. 1st day was breakfast at Spore Mcd, lunch at A&W then dinner at some Sawadika cafe.
2nd day was breakfast at the hotel, lunch at Pizza Hut and for dinner, we had the best and cheapest seafood ever! All those food at only $63 for 4. :)
3rd day was breakfast at the hotel again, lunch at some cafe and dinner was at my house.
We also made friends with really good taxi drivers who waited for us without charging while we enjoyed ourselves.
It might only be Batam, but the company was excellent! Rock, Yaya and Faiz. Faiz and myself are already gearing up planning for our next trip somewhere! Only after my wedding, ok? :)
And now, it's back to work. I have 7 clsg shifts to get through!

Ok, we've decided on the destination for our honeymoon. Nowhere and nothing fancy but we are looking forward to a relaxing and fun getaway.

There are so many things to do for the upcoming wedding that sometimes I can get very disorganised. Like what should be done 1st, what you can leave to the very last minute.
Like right now, I'm actually doing a draft of the people I'm inviting and it's quite fun talking aloud.
"Must invite this person! This one no need, can cancel" ect. And it can be quite disorganise doing up the invitation list too. It's like I'll write down whatever name that pops up. So what I've done is to do the list with categories.

-FRIENDS FROM STARBUCKS (MANY NAMES WERE WRITTEN, MANY STRIKES AND MANY ADD ONS)

I hope when I have my final list, it total up to that pax I've decided upon.
Anyway, some things I look forward to this month.
11th-13th - Batam trip
22nd - Date withe OWA.
24th - Collecting his ring
27th - Doing our cards.
And more Twilight nights maybe, Ayu?

Sarina, I started out late but I've finished all 4 books from the twilight series. Gosh, freaking addictive and super hard to put down the books which made me lose so much sleep! Slept at 2-3am just to finish off the 4 books in abt 12 days. Woohoo. Happy2
Can't wait for the movies.
And btw, I keep forgetting to check out those fraps. :D
